Reward delivery / timing
Tell recipients which event starts the next step
Digital delivery does not mean that every reward is immediate. Qualification, notification, and recipient access can occur at different stages, and each needs an accurate explanation.
Anchor expectations to a named event
If the promotion depends on a qualification decision, the customer should not assume the access message arrives at checkout. Explain the relevant starting event and use only time commitments supported by the actual program.
Distinguish delay from an access problem
The right response depends on what has occurred.
| Known stage | Next question |
|---|---|
| Decision pending | What remains before the outcome can be communicated? |
| Decision complete | What delivery or recipient step follows? |
| Notification sent | Has the recipient found the official message? |
| Message found, access unsuccessful | Which access-support route should handle the issue? |
| Card information accessed | Is the question now about card use rather than delivery? |
Give an update that advances the conversation
When a step is unresolved, explain the current stage and where further help comes from. Repeating 'soon' without context is less useful than identifying the outstanding action. Do not restart qualification simply because a message was not found or claim successful receipt based only on a send record.
