Reward delivery / support
Move the question to the right team without losing the context
A support handoff should preserve what the recipient already explained and identify who owns the next step. The message, the access route, and the card may involve different responsibilities.
Route by the failed step
Start with the customer's description rather than asking them to identify the service architecture.
| Issue | Route to establish |
|---|---|
| The purchase does not appear to qualify | Merchant promotion support. |
| The expected message is missing | Reward notification or delivery support. |
| The access instructions do not work | The official access-support service. |
| A card-use question remains | The contact given in the card terms. |
| The Shopify order was returned | Order support and the applicable promotional conditions. |
Pass a useful, proportionate summary
The next team needs the relevant promotion reference, the stage already confirmed, the issue described, and the action already attempted. It does not need sensitive credentials in an ordinary email thread.
- Identify the unresolved question.
- Confirm the responsible service and approved contact route.
- Pass the appropriate case context.
- Tell the recipient what happens next.
- Keep the issue open until its actual outcome is known.
Avoid promising a recovery method
Access recovery and identity procedures depend on the responsible service. Do not tell every recipient to reset an account, submit a document, or request a replacement card unless the actual program instructions establish that process.
